Great to see Captain Doug! Let’s just hope the part does the trick but maybe there is an underlying problem? It would be such a shame if the project has to be suspended for this season. Fingers crossed guys. with love, Issy x

Great news! Fresh part for the boiler and fresh produce for the operators! Wishing you healthy drilling and eating!

  4. David Rootes Says:

Glad you’ve got the parts….and where did the freshies come from…?

    Happy drilling! David

Great news. If “the part” has come all this way, did they send a spare just in case ? It worries me that you talk about “the part”, singular :)
How does a pilot slow a plane down when it’s on ski’s ?

  6. Tom L-C Says:

Great news – make sure you don’t bend AZ though.

  7. Ed King Says:

Annette – the pilot can slow the plane down by controlling the angle of the propeller blades to give reverse thrust.

  8. Annette Says:

    Thanks Ed :)

  9. Cesare Brizio Says:

Out of curiosity: while you were waiting for the spare, did you retract the drill to the surface? Will you have to start again drilling right from the beginning? And if not, how could you keep the hole from refreezing and trapping the drill?
