Great to see Captain Doug! Let’s just hope the part does the trick but maybe there is an underlying problem? It would be such a shame if the project has to be suspended for this season. Fingers crossed guys. with love, Issy x
Great news. If “the part” has come all this way, did they send a spare just in case ? It worries me that you talk about “the part”, singular
How does a pilot slow a plane down when it’s on ski’s ?
Out of curiosity: while you were waiting for the spare, did you retract the drill to the surface? Will you have to start again drilling right from the beginning? And if not, how could you keep the hole from refreezing and trapping the drill?

Great news – make sure you don’t bend AZ though.

Annette – the pilot can slow the plane down by controlling the angle of the propeller blades to give reverse thrust.
